Keep your pants on: Men are born to hunt

I have no problem going up to men I find (very) attractive. Just like Aaron Carter, Abercrombie models (the real ones), or NFL players. I have no shame.

One of my friends was working at Disneyland as a prince, who quite frankly could have anyone, said he saw this super fox, who was also working, but he let her pass by like ships in the night. Four months later when he saw her working again, she was already taken.

I like to think of it as checking out at a super market, if you see something you like – you find a way to be in their life. Make your presence known. Other wise it will soon be gone.

But you have to remember you’re a super fox. Not a doormat. There’s a  huge difference!

You don’t obsess over, or allow him to control you. After all, you’re a super fox, who has things to do, and a life to live.

This means you can’t throw yourself over like table scraps.

You have to let him chase you. After all, men are hunters.

It was what they were born to do.

When a man has worked hard at something, he appreciates it.

Just like a relationship.

Marriage partner: choose wisely

Marriage, it’s what 5-year-old girls dream about, gold diggers swindle over, and forty-something-year-old men fear.

Marriage is a long term commitment that most are falling out of. But I think the reason behind this is that people:

                         a) rush in for sex

                         b) never establish the friend zone

                        c) the sex is great

                       d) are in the wrong relationship and fear that they’ll never find anyone else

**Side note– if you’re in a relationship for any of these reasons above, you might want to throw in a — check mate, and get out. After all, you’re a super fox, and super foxes don’t need no baggage.

If you are wondering if you’ll ever find anyone. You will. You will always find someone when you’re not looking… and of course you might be rolling your eyes from how many times your Uncle Larry has told you that, but it’s true!

Love comes in different forms, and the best form is when you’re not expecting it. Just like a surprise Caribbean getaway.

If you don’t see yourself marrying the person you’re dating, then cut yourself a favor, sweet thang, and get out.

The person you marry is equally as important as your job, because he or she determines your futures fate.

For example, if you marry someone who is toxic, and doesn’t communicate very well, the spirit they carry into the house will drag you down, and the marriage as well. This can be draining, and can seem like a chore at times.

But let’s be real, marriages weren’t meant to hinder. They are a gift.

Choose your avenues wisely.

Leave the duplicates in the KFC bucket

If you can find an exact copy of that person somewhere else, don’t marry them. They’ll lose their uniqueness, and will be on the same level as everyone else.

Keynote – you want to marry someone special. Not someone you can replace, or find again.

Someone who cannot be cooked, edited, or copied.

Cause if you can, chances are you’ll start digging for the other scraps later.

Nightmare on Masterson Street

It was my wedding day. A day I was going to walk down the isle to Jake Epperson, a high school boyfriend.
That day I had the jitters. But it wasn’t just any ol’ jitter.
I had an uneasy feeling. Even though I was in my wedding dress, suffocation and death came from the core.
I peeked out, and saw people who began to gather. I started to run, and didn’t realize that I had bumped into my dad. All I wanted was for someone to tell me no.
But the one thing I admire about my dad is that he never tells you how you should live your life. He lets you grow – in the shade, or in the sun.

I looked at him with uneasy eyes, and it was as if he already knew what I was thinking when he told me, “Don’t marry a clone.”

People do this every day.
Don’t become a victim.

I was shooting a stand up when this guy caught me in it, and proposed.  I turned the camera around on him and started to film.  My side kick, Alex got the rest on her camera.

PS- I’m not really engaged.
